Strike Deadline Extended at Bombardier in Toronto

The strike deadline at Bombardier Aerospace in Toronto is being extended hour by hour in an effort to reach an agreement between the CAW and the company. The strike deadline was set for Tuesday at 10 a.m.
The nearly 3,000 workers, represented by CAW Locals 112 and 673, will remain in the plant and office facilities until a new deadline is set or an agreement is reached.
Workers in the plant assemble the Q400 turboprop planes, Global family of business jets and make wings for two models of Learjet business jets that are assembled in the U.S.
