Good Jobs For All: Toronto Summit

Delegates representing more than 39 community, labour and student organizations will come together November 22 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre to discuss the fight for good jobs.
This summit called "Good Jobs For All For A Greater Toronto" is part of a long-term effort to tackle the pressing issues of social equity and economic justice in the 21st century.
Using the strategies from the summit the Good Jobs Coalition will continue organizing and mobilizing to build communities and labour alliances to strive for the right of every person in greater Toronto to have a good job in a sustainable economy.
A Good Jobs Declaration will be presented at the Summit that expresses common values and vision, the elements needed for good jobs and a call for a commitment from elected leaders to a good jobs economy.
The summit begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 22 and the cost is $50 which includes lunch.
