Anyone connected to the Scarborough Van Plant is invited to attend a photo exhibition by Gayle Hurmuses of images from the General Motors plant, which closed in May of 1993. Hurmuses is a former member of CAW Local 303, which represented the van plant workers.

In addition, a special screening of the video 'It Was Magic' about the rooftop garden outside of the Paint Shop Department will be shown.

The event will be held on Wednesday, September 14 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Steam Whistle Brewery, The Roundhouse - 255 Bremner Blvd, Toronto, Ontario. The plant at one point employed 2,800 workers.
